'Ullo there. I'm on a weeks holiday at the now, not the sort of holiday where I go anywhere exciting, more the kind where I stay home and catch up on all the things that are actually important to me. I've done some more art, thankfully finishing one I did the initial drawings of on my last holiday, a year ago. I actually went on holiday that time, snowboarding for a week, then down to Melbourne to catch up with Dale and check out the Outre Gallery etc.

It's great to get some things done though. I've received my full birth certificate now, which is particularly for getting security clearance at work (they've been hassling me about it for a while, better get it done), but also neccessary for getting a passport which I also want to do. I have a website to do for a business (better get my act into gear for that one) , yesterday I sent Lisa flowers (will arrive today, hopefully) , it's the first time I've sent her flowers, I hope she likes them. Did i mention before that she sent me flowers before? While I was onsite inthe city. First girl to send me flowers. Girls, it's a nice thing, send 'em to your guys!

I've also successfully applied for a Virgin creditcard to help me manage my small-ish debt. Basically my current creditcard has a 16.75% interst rate, the Virgin one has a 4.9% rate for 6 months then to 12.4% so it's a lot better and gives me 6 months to get on top of my debt a bit more rather than paying such a large amount interest. I'm going to cut up my other card. I've been buying Money magazine, you see... =)

I'm thinking about studying part-time next year, perhaps graphics design, I really want to do something more akin to my creative side, I've been doing IT support for 5 years now, while I do still enjoy it a bit, it's fair to say that the novelty has certainly worn off.

oh... I'm back on the cigarettes again... dammit.

I'm currently being employed onsite at one of our customers for 2 and a half weeks, currently about a third of the way through it. I'm working in the city, down at the rocks, whch is nice, but significantly longer travelwise (my normal place of work is only 15mins drive away, so I guess i'm pretty spoilt). I'm enjoying it, it's more busy, but with more freedom, but working in support is slowly eating away at me. I had my first kinesiology session on saturday and found it really interesting. I guess it didn't tell me anything I didn't know, but I really believe that part of the point is really the conscious admitting of issues, problems and stresses.

My little sister called me the other day to tell me that she's expecting a baby. Wow, i'm going to be an uncle! eggshellent.

I have been less stressed lately, and for a very good, wholesome reason. I've been 'romantically involved' with L since about the 18th of June... and wow am I having fun. She's a great girl and we're seem to be really clicking together well. It's only early days yet, but we both seem to be making real effort towards having a *real* relationship, after both spending a couple of years of testing the waters and not finding what we're after, it's obvious the importance we're both placing into doing things properly, after all, it's not like we're at Uni anymore, and I like the idea of building history with someone who is similar to me and shared a lot of common dreams. We've both been careless in the past, we've hurt others and been hurt ourselves. I think am important thing is also to be happy single. to have your own life, interests and goals and not to let go of these.

You rock my work baby, and I'm going to focus on getting this right.
Remember this moment, those little moments, what it's like to be single in what seems to be a world of couples. Remember our phone conversations at work in the middle of the day where we've left each other laughing and shaking our heads.

It's Sunday eve, public holiday 2moro.
I worked today and had 3 hrs sleep the Thursday night and 4 hrs Friday night before that working 2moro too. hehe.
Thurday night i went out with Steve C who'd just finished his last uni assignment for "a" beer. I got home from that around 2:30 - 3 and was at work the next morning at 9am. Friday night went out with Mick, Link, Lisa (girl that link knows from bathurst) and her friends... had a mad one... 6am there. We went to the Shelbourne in the city for drinks and bad dancing (deliberate, of course) then went over to the underground bar for more drinks and some pool (i sucked) and were there until, yeh, 5:30 or so i guess. It was a really good time. Coincidentally, we were all incredible funny.
